Jeff Comins is an expert at developing highly skilled executives and technical experts into successful leaders. Understanding the challenges that face today’s leaders, he uses a skills-based executive coaching approach to help build and leverage their talents. He is particularly effective at strengthening interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, executive presence, strategic thinking and leadership impact. Jeff also designs and facilitates leadership development programs that combine assessment, coaching and targeted training for executives. Jeff coaches senior leaders and their teams across a wide range of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, high-tech engineering, and financial and professional services. He has extensive experience working with partners, physicians, lawyers and C-suite leaders. Jeff is certified in administration of multiple assessments including CPI260, DISC, EQi, MBTI-Q, FIRO-B, Hogan Assessments, VOICES and PROFILOR.

Professional Background

Jeff worked for 8 years as a Director with BlueCross/BlueShield. While there, he developed quality improvement processes and systems re-engineering that successfully reduced administrative costs and enhanced quality of customer service. Jeff also led the coaching practice area in the Minnesota operating office of Personnel Decisions International (PDI). As an Executive Consultant at Menttium Corporation, he implemented mentoring programs in Fortune 500 companies. Jeff was faculty in the Duke Corporate Education Global Learning Resource Network (Duke University). He was also adjunct faculty at University of St. Thomas in the Executive Coaching Certificate Program.
